We have been selected to be part of the MAF CHALLENGE of the Master's Degree in Financial Administration of EAFIT University –MAF

Strategies4Climate has been selected by EAFIT University to develop the MAF Challenge. This is an initiative of the School of Finance, Economics and Government where Master's students accept the challenge of solving a specific challenge present in an organization, contributing at the same time with their knowledge and experience.

How to enhance the catalytic effect of Strategies4Climate to mobilize knowledge and resources towards climate initiatives, accompanying decision-making processes, investments and risk management?

We are accompanied in this challenge by leading professionals from different training areas and sectors, with whom we share the purpose of unlocking access to sustainable finance for a transition towards a green economy and of scaling innovative initiatives with a catalytic effect.

Luis Carlos Franco is a public accountant and finance specialist. He has led projects in the insurance sector (WTA) of road infrastructure (INVIAS) and in tax audit programs at the DIAN.

Sebastian Dueñas is a finance specialist and financial engineer. His experience includes projects such as investment strategist and portfolio manager, investment banking and financial analysis.

Santiago Herrera is a business administrator, specialized in corporate finance. His experience highlights his successful management as an FP&A specialist and financial leader for Latin America at Stanley Black and Decker Inc.

Fabian Sandoval is an economist and international negotiator, a finance specialist with extensive experience in the financial sector in commercial and administrative areas.

This project is under the direction and advice of the professor and researcher Judith Vergara Garavito who has extensive experience and knowledge in sustainable and climate finance.
